Section 211 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) in India pertains to "False charge of an offense made with intent to injure." According to this section:

Whoever, with intent to cause injury to any person, institutes or causes to be instituted any criminal proceeding against that person, or falsely charges any person with having committed an offense, knowing that there is no just or lawful ground for such proceeding or charge against that person, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

In simple terms, this section deals with the punishment for intentionally filing false charges or instituting criminal proceedings against someone with the intention to harm or injure them. If someone knowingly files false charges or falsely accuses another person of committing a crime without any justifiable reason, they can be punished with imprisonment for up to two years, a fine, or both.
